War never changes... except when you remake it.
Welcome to World War III: Black Gold Fan Remake— the unofficial, fan-driven resurrection of a forgotten RTS gem from 2001.

This is not a AAA remake. It's a one-man love letter to the game that raised me, confused me, and made me build 50 pumps on a single oil field like a degenerate.

What is this?

A modern-ish remake of the original Black Gold using Unity, made for:

• Nostalgic boomers who still remember the OG, simple but astonishing animations,

• Strategy nerds who like building, mining and flexing their economy,

• Anyone who thinks Command & Conquer was cool but wants more oil and less cutscenes.

Features (so far):

Actualy... None. I freshly started this project. It's my second thing i made in unity that i build and the first one to be shown to a wider audience than my friends. At this moment there's no point of publishing it as the only feature is only placing pumpjacks (with broken model) on a oil field (or at least something I call it)

This remake is non-commercial, made for fun, nostalgia, and maybe a bit of mental illness.
